No wonder TV stations aired some movies that considered as favorite in this holidays moment. People keep watching them, as if never get bored. Home Alone 1, 2, and 3
This comedy film first appeared in 1990. The story centered on a child named Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, celebrating Christmas alone in a house that was accidentally left behind by his family and fought against a foolish villain. The film was a massive and funny, so the producer decided to make Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992), still starring Macaulay Culkin as the main character. But, the franchise turned different in the third movie, Home Alone 3 (1997). They chose new character and new family as the main cast, a 9-year-old boy named Alex Pruitt, played by Alex D. Linz. The concept was not much different.
The Polar Express
The Polar Express (2004) animated film tells of a child who does not believe in Santa Claus. The boy was picked up by a train called The Polar Express which also contains special selected children. The child and several other children make the long journey to the North Pole on Christmas Eve to meet Santa Claus. The journey was far from easy as the boy has to face a series of problems. In this film, Tom Hanks is appointed as the voice of the main character.
A Christmas Carol
This animated film is based on a novel adaptation from Charles Dickens. The storyline is about a stingy man named Scrooge, voiced by Jim Carrey, who throughout his life always brings people the hard time. By the time Christmas Eve arrived, he was visited by three spirits who gave a picture of his life in the past, present, and future. The film is made with modern animation technology and was launched in 2009.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Starring Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore, this film tells the story of Willy Wonka who is trying to find a replacement to continue the most popular chocolate factory business. The owner of Chocolate factory business tucked five gold tickets into a chocolate pack sold all over the country and who gets them will be given the opportunity to tour the factory.
Charlie (Freddie Highmore) poor boy found one of the golden tickets. His dream is to see how the chocolate is made. In the tour, Willy Wonka gets a valuable lesson from Charlie who refuses Wonka's request to stay with him, preferring to live simply with the family he loves.
